Film + Art: Small Business Sponsorship

Film + Art is being organized by two Sheboygan nonprofits: Belladonna Film Project and Sheboygan Visual Artists. The event is planned for Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 7 PM and will screen six short films made by local filmmakers and inspired by the work of local visual artists. The evening will also feature live music and live painting along with bites and beverages.

The goal of Film +Art is to bring together artists from different creative mediums and provide an evening for the greater Sheboygan area to experience art made within their own community. The group of filmmakers behind the films met through monthly Filmmaker Thursdays organized by the Belladonna Film Project at the Sheboygan Visual Artists gallery. For this project, the filmmakers met with artists from the Sheboygan Visual Artists group and viewed their work. This sparked the creative process for their films. The screening on October 21st will feature the films alongside the art. Additionally, local musicians have teamed up with the filmmakers to provide soundtracks for the films. Their music will also be featured at the event on the 21st.

Overall, the Film +Art project provides creative opportunities for 14 filmmakers, 12 visual artists, and 6 local bands. The screening event will be open to the public with expected attendance of up to 300 people. This project provides a unique opportunity both for artists to collaborate and for the community to engage with the arts.

Sponsorship Levels: 

$500 - 2 tickets to the event, social media acknowledgement, your logo on its own slide before the film screenings during the event, and your logo on all promotional materials for the event

$250 - 2 tickets to the event, social media acknowledgement, and your logo on its own slide before the film screenings during the event

$100 - 2 tickets to the event, social media acknowledgement, and your logo on a shared slide before the film screenings during the event

$50 - 2 tickets to the event plus social media acknowledgement
